Geoff and Rosalind Peckham
Since the 1980’s, Geoff has been working in
the caring profession with adults with learning disabilities, initially
as a residential care worker and then the music instructor at a
large day centre.
Being a musician and multi-instrumentalist, he combined
his skills and in 1996 established a specialist music service for
adults with learning disabilities in residential and day care settings
in the south east of England. Geoff still continues this work when possible.
Rosalind also has experience working with people with learning disabilities.
She was the manager of a music therapy charity in Sussex prior to
training as a music therapist obtaining a PostGraduate Diploma.
Since qualifying in 1994 she practised as a State Registered Music
Therapist working with children and adults from most client groups
and environments including those with a learning disability, hospice
and bereavement work, and people with emotional and behavioural
difficulties.
Geoff and Rosalind have two young children and have been living in France since 2003.
